Project partnerships with community college faculty

Central to the mission of the ABE project is to provide professional development opportunity for two- or four-year colleges using resources available in the PDI-project.  Faculty also play a critical role in developing the instructional modules and mentor selected students by bringing them to the summer workshops.  For more information on ABE faculty partners, please view the ABE partners page.

What does ABE provide to faculty?

• Summer overload or stipend for participation
• Professional growth opportunities and certificates of faculty development
• Resources available to PDI-project
• Stipend for your student's summer workshop attendance
• Air ticket for outer island faculty and students
